Martha loved her Chickens and her African Grey Bird, Michelle, all raised from hatchlings. Martha loved working and piddling in her yard (beautiful yesterday, todays and tomorrows) and was well known in the neighborhood for a beautifully manicured lawn. Martha loved her red truck that she won at the local bank opening up a CD.
Martha loved garage selling in her red truck, visiting Goodwill and flea markets so she could turn a profit in her regular yard sales. By the time we stepped in to help her, we had to bribe her with money to allow 1-800-Got-Junk to haul her accumulation away. The driver paid Mima from our cash and we paid the driver to haul off all her accumulated items..
Martha loved visiting family in Stoneham County, taking care of her neighbors, picking pecans, baking incredible pies (pecan, coconut, chocolate, cherry, apple), custard for Family & Friends and especially as one of the first parishioners at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church donating to Festivals, Bereavement and Catholic Life, cooking black eyed peas every new year, shopping for the best fruit in the backroom alley of the grocery stores, cooking Chicken and Dumplings, and protecting her neighbors homes and puppies while out of town.
Mima was our Matriarch, our Rock and our Stability and supported us all with whatever we needed. So very loving and generous. We could not have been more blessed with this very strong woman, Martha Marie Cullen! So many expressions and stories, too many to tell!! Our Creator broke the mold after she was born!! We can't imagine a life on Earth without Mima, but we have gained a great Angel!!
