Marshall Jay Cook went to be with his Lord on July 30, 2017. He was born on October 1, 1941 in Houston, Texas to parents Marshall and Ester Cook. He is survived by his loving wife Jackie Cook, children, Marchelle Cook , Stephanie Longa and husband Joey; stepdaughter Alicen Cain Hults, stepsons Todd Hoyt and wife Becky, Scott Hoyt and wife Mary; grandchildren, Taylor , Emily, Mandy, Bobbie ( wife Shellie ), Tyler ( wife Ashleigh ), and Sadie; great grandchildren, Aiden, Ayla, Brooklyn, Cheyenne, Jordan, Paige, and Josh.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and a funeral service Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home Family Chapel; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
