She worked for Weingartens grocery store for 28 years starting out checking out groceries and was promoted to courtesy booth and after retirement she started selling Home Interior. She loved creating wall decor in families homes.
She moved to Trinity in 1992.
She loved being outdoors. If she wasn’t in the garden, she was planting flowers and or her plants. She was famous for clipping plants and starting new ones for growth. She would go to resale shops or garage sales to collect items to turn around and sell at her own garage sale. She also loved quilting and sewing she would always say that gave her peace. We can still hear her singing Christian hymns on the piano. She also loved family and she loved to cook for them. There wasn’t a meal on her table that wasn’t a full course meal and let’s not forget about them homemade biscuits and chocolate gravy and how much she loved popcorn and vanilla ice cream.
