I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Perry.  I know she must have been a very fine woman, with great morals and values because her son John and grandchildren Jeff and Steven are tributes to her.  I am glad they all are so close and will be able to comfort each other through this sorrowful time and for the next year especially which is so difficult.  All our prayers to you all. I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Marlene all too briefly but in the years I knew her, she was a treasured friend.  I was priviledged to have her in my music classes at H&H Music and was able to share the love of making music with her.  She always lit up the room with her warmth and gusto and she definitely "had the music in her".  I will always have fond memories of her playing her organ, singing and yes, dancing in the conga line at my mother's 90th birthday party.  It was great to see her so happy.  Our friendship is something I will always cherish. I wish you all the comfort of God's embrace at this time of sorrow.

Johnny & family-what can I say Marlene was a very special person to me-she was my godmother. I believe I was 8 years old when you got married. I thought Marlene was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen (and she still is) that's when I fell in love with her kindness and beauty inside & out.  I'm so glad we were able to be there for the 50th wedding anniversary. She will be surely missed by all who knew her especially family.
