Mark graduated from the University of Houston in 1982, in Petroleum Land Management. Mark began his career in 1983 at Standard Oil of Ohio, where he was transferred to San Francisco. Shortly after moving to San Francisco, he met his future wife, Diana, at a sandwich shop, and asked her out. Mark returned to Houston in 1984 to continue his career, and Diana followed him to Houston in 1985. He retired after 37 years in the oil business with Equinor Oil and Gas in 2020.
In his retirement, Mark focused on his passion for buying and selling vintage motocross bikes, 3 & 4 wheelers, and motorcycle parts. Mark and Diana loved traveling to San Francisco to visit her family and go to their favorite places to eat. He also enjoyed getting together with childhood friends and meeting his former work associates for lunch.
Mark is survived by his wife Diana, his sister Kathy Magner and her husband Robert, niece Katrina Stephenson, her husband Drew, and their 3 children, Barrett, Ellie Kate, and Liv.
No services will be scheduled.
