I was so saddened by the news of the loss of your beloved husband.  You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My family, (Margaret and Larry Kennedy and children) were privileged to have a close association with Wachel Exxon starting in the 70's. We knew both Senior and of course, Junior.  What a fun person to be around. We had complete confidence when we took our cars to you.  We appreciated the way you helped out our children with auto problems.  You were a positive influence on the Memorial community during your time on Memorial.  We were sad when you closed the shop and moved. I am very sorry to hear about Junior. I remember this man always going to any length to help anyone who was in need. He was greatly loved by everyone and will always be, for he loved and cared genuinely for all the people in his life.  My heart especially goes out to his loving wife whom he had pointed out as so many times before and the last time to me on Thanksgiving, that she was his “Angel” followed by a big smile on his face. I know he was and will always be hers’ too.  My prayers and deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends for he was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by many.  I love you Uncle Junior, and thank you for leaving the imprint of your kindness, laughter and love on anyone who had the opportunity to know you, Sir.

When I joined the Commercial Exhibits Committee back in the 80s, Junior quickly became a friend and a "go-to" guy.  Everyone loved him.  You can't say anything better than that about a man.

I remember Jr. from high school.   Jr. use to come visit James when we worked at Pizzins's Pizza.   Jr. was always smiling and loved life.  May your memories bring you comfort.  Praying for all of Jr.'s family.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Every time I do make them & eat them I will be thinking of Jr & the many camping trips in Austin. Para-sailing...I never got the chance. The equipment broke before I had my turn, but seeing our friends pulled along in the boat by Jr will never be forgotten.

I can remember going to grandma Vickie's house in Bremond and seeing this skinny little kid, helping his uncle Jack, feed the cows and help build the fences.

One of a kind ... I'll remember his smile. Know that Junior is always around .. in the sun that shines, the wind that blows and the rain that falls.

I had the great privilege of meeting Jr. when he started dating my very good friend Carolyn. It didn't take long for him to become as close to me as she was, he made me feel I was family. He always had a spark & charm that enveloped everyone around him. His shining personality & humor will be missed by all. My heart goes out to Carolyn, she has lost her soul mate ... To his children that have lost a father, that loved them very much ... To his family that lost their big brother & devoted son.   All of us that ever knew Jr.,a little while or a long time will feel the lost of his passing from this world.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

My long lost older brother........how saddened I was to hear of this loss.  The world will be smaller without Jr., but heaven will rejoice with his sense of humor and smiling face.   My sympathies go out to the entire Wachel family during this most difficult time.

Jr left his impression and entertained all he met. He and his wife left my wife and I precious memories we will treasure forever. We'll miss him. Rest in peace cuz.
