Marion Kershner passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at the age of 87. Mr. Kershner was born Dec. 20, 1922 and was a native Houstonian. He graduated from Sam Houston High Downtown and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents, George W. Kershner and Bertha M. Kershner. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace Kershner. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church until it closed Dec. 1996 and Later Christ and Peace Lutheran Churches. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 36 years. He loved to take trips with his wife on passenger trains. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1pm at Forest Park Lawndale’s Main Chapel with interment immediately following at Rosewood Cemetery, 2602 Old Humble Road, Humble, TX 77396.
