Marion L James, age 92 passed away on Friday May 8, 2020. Marion was born March 28, 1928 in Rosehill, Texas. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Marion was preceded in death by her husband George Archie James, Jr. and her son George Archie James, III. Marion is survived by her daughters; Wyvone Heath, Janet Stoppelberg and Georgetta C. James; grandchildren; Brenna Heath, Dustin Heath, Robert Heath, Jr., Anthony Stoppelberg, Shanna Abshire, great grandchildren; Audra Simpson, Keira Heath, Riley Abshire, and Mikel Fair, Jr. and great-great granddaughter Arianna Martinez. A visitation for Marion will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM at Heights Funeral Home. Mrs. James will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery.
