She was born and raised in Houston, Texas to loving parents Stash Swatloski and Pearl "Stepanski" Swatloski. She is one of fourteen siblings. She attended All Saints Catholic Church, Hogg Middle School, and Reagan High School.
On February 12, 1955 she married Edmund A Dziedzic and together they raised 6 children. In 2017 after 62 years of marriage, she was widowed.
Marie Dziedzic worked at Weingarten's to support herself prior to marriage. She became a stay at home Mom until her youngest child reached school age. Then returned to the workforce as a cashier at Globe Discount City (later Rice Food Market) until she retired.
She was a devout Catholic and parishioner at All Saints Catholic Church, Assumption Catholic Church, and Saint Matthew's The Evangelist Catholic Church. She had a passion for reading suspense novels, watching Judge Judy, working crossword puzzles, and most importantly caring for her 6 children. She was a great cook. Some of the kids favorites were Sunday pot roast, gingerbread after coming home from school, cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving dinner, and homemade pizza. She also loved to treat herself with lots of Blue Bell Ice Cream and Hershey's Kisses.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edmund A. Dziedzic. Her parents Stash and Pearl Swatloski. Her siblings John Swatloski, Thomas Swatloski, William Swatloski, Andrew Swatloski, Stephen Swatloski, Marjorie Kenne,Julia Markowski, Barbara Connor.
She is survived by her children Angela Baker and husband James, Susan Warzon and husband Ronald, Debra Waldrop and husband David, Michael Dziedzic and husband Wayne Jauer, Victoria Jadloski and husband Scott (deceased), and Richard Dziedzic and wife Karen. Grandchildren Jami Rudinger, Matthew Warzon, Chad Baker, Erin Yaap, Lauren Anderson, Melissa Farmer, April Jordan-Hulsey, Thomas Dziedzic, Austin Jadloski. Great Grandchildren Kathryn Yaap, Cortland Rudinger, Jacob Yaap, Chance Rudinger, Lane Baker, Clayton Anderson, Lawson Baker, Tucker Warzon, Zephaniah Jordan-Hulsey, Isabella Warzon, Zelie Jordan-Hulsey. Siblings Paul Swatloski, Leo Swatloski, Eva Bostic, Patricia Romano, and Rita Danchak. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Marie will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A church service will occur Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Anne Catholic Church, 1111 S Cherry St, Tomball, TX 77375. A committal will occur Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
