Marie Elizabeth Champagne Austin , age 73, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the comfort of her home. A native of Breaux Bridge/Lafayette, Louisiana; she lived most of her life in Houston, Texas. Marie was the daughter of the late Marshall Champagne and Amy Joseph Champagne. Marie was a dear special lady to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her genuine spirit who treated everyone with love and kindness. She is survived by her husband Lonnie Austin Sr., 3 daughters, Bridgett, Melony, and Katrina, 4 son's, Lonnie Jr., Marshall, Fredrick, and Clifford. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
