Maria Isabel Solorio

Till her very last breath Maria never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. She underwent a variety of new treatments in hopes of assisting other women in the future. Despite her own battle, she joined support groups to lend a listening ear and help other women through chemotherapy.

Maria was a role model who always put others first, she was such an exemplary woman and because of her we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like.

Maria was a daughter, a wife, a mother, grandmother, a friend and a STINGRAY MOM. She was very wise and always gave the best advice, she taught us the meaning of love and the value of time.

Her memory will be carried on by her Husband, Jose A. Alfaro and her three Children, Elizabeth Alfaro, Eduardo Alfaro and Josie Alfaro. She was a very proud grandmother to two beautiful twins Hendrix and Phoenix Alfaro-Glover.

Maria leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Socorro Ponce Salmoran, her siblings, Armando Solorio, Guillermo Solorio, Mary Solorio and Juan Carlos Solorio. She will also be remembered for her love for animals; her pets, Mumble, Cleo, Tyler, Eleanor and Beau.

She will be missed by countless people whose lives she touched.

Maria Also joins her father, Juan Solorio in eternal rest.
