Isabel, beloved wife of 50 years to Angel M. Rico; loving Mother to four daughters, Claudia Rico Salinas, Patricia Rico Mejia, Fabiola Rico and Adriana Rico; two son-in-laws, Jesus Salinas and Polo Mejia; five grandchildren, Angel Mejia, Alexys Aviles, Madelynn Salinas, Lauren Salinas, Christian Salinas; and great granddaughter, Amelia Galo.
Isabel was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. Friends and family knew her as Chacha. She touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was fun and full of life and most of all, sincere.
The world was a better place because of her, always loved and will never be forgotten. As our Mami Chacha always said, “I love you tu much”.
Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 Pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home located at 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 10:00 AM with the interment to follow in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
