Maria de la Luz Nieto

Maria de la luz Nieto was born on September 11, 1922 and passed away at her home on Friday, December 1, 2023 she was 101 years of age. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of everyone, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the family storyteller and loved to crochet when she could.

She is survived by her children, Raul Nieto, Maria De Los Angeles and Jose Guadalupe Nieto; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband who passed away in 1997, and her grandson, Raul Nieto, Jr. along with her brothers and sisters and her parents.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral will occur Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A graveside will occur Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
