Maria Teresa Medina, age 66, of Humble, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Maria was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas on May 4, 1955 to parents Micaela Ayala and Alfredo Mendoza. She had a passion for playing bingo (loteria).
She is preceded in death by her spouse Francisco Medina, and parents Alfredo Mendoza and Micaela Mendoza.
Maria is survived by her sons Carlos Guerra (Stephanie), Roberto Luna Jr., and Freddie Mendoza (Victoria Morante); brothers Ismael Mendoza (Blanca), Enrique Mendoza, and Aurelio Mendoza; sister Matilde Perez; grandchildren Jazzy, JoJo, Nicco, Lalin, Miah, Elih, Isaac, Daniel, Gabby, and Lalo.
A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A rosary service will occur Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A mass service will occur Friday, April 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Friday, April 29, 2022 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Nicholas Guerra, Isaac Mendoza, Elih Mendoza, Eduardo Morante , Daniel Morante, Lalin Galvan, Freddie Mendoza and Juan "Carlos" Guerra.
