Maria del Rosario Gomez (Charito), 38 years of age, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born in Morelia, Michoacán on July 11, 1980, she was the daughter of Jose Guadalupe Bucio and Rosa Maria Franco de Bucio. She is survived by her husband, Wilfredo Gomez; her children, Andrea, Diego, and Alejandro Gomez; and her siblings, Rosa Maria, Maria Guadalupe, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Roberto, Octavio, and Hector.

Charito came to Houston at age nine and began a transition into a new language and new traditions. Charito is best known to her family and friends as a woman who brought love and laughter into their lives, and she will be remembered above all for her big heart, and as a strong woman that fought until the end. Her happiest times were when she was surrounded by her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and cheering for them at their soccer games. She would spend hours reading motivational books, and her passion was dancing. At her last family trip in August 2018, she had the time of her life. We remember her saying, "This is the best family trip ever."

María del Rosario Gómez (Charito), de 38 años de edad, falleció el Miércoles 12 de Diciembre del 2018. Nacida en Morelia, Michoacán, el 11 de Julio de 1980. Fue hija de José Gpe. Bucio y Rosa María Franco de Bucio. Le sobreviven su esposo Wilfredo Gómez y sus hijos Andrea, Diego y Alejandro Gómez; y sus hermanos: Rosa María, María Guadalupe, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Roberto, Octavio y Héctor.

Charito llegó a Houston a los nueve años de edad a iniciar una nueva etapa, donde aprendio un nuevo idioma y nuevas tradiciones. Charito es conocida por familiares y amigos como una mujer llena de amor y vida. Será recordada sobre todo por un gran corazón. Una mujer fuerte que lucho hasta el final. Los momentos más felices eran cuando estaba rodeada por su familia; disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus hijos, sobretodo animando los equipos de fútbol. Pasaba horas leyendo libros de motivacion. Una de las grandes pasiones era bailar y viajar; su último viaje familiar en Agosto del 2018 fue de las mejores vacaciones de su vida. La recordamos mencionando: "Este es el mejor viaje familiar".
