We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of María Elena Flores Aguirre. She was a very strong, caring, loving, and supportive wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She always put everyone before herself and Made sure everyone was being taken take of before she she took care of herself. She was a hardworking person with a strong character who was very passionate.

She was a great loving mother that took care of her of her 2 kids Daniel and David and her many nieces and nephews and would do anything for them even to her last dying breath. She was a fighter that never gave up, with a loving and supportive family that helped her fight for her life all the way to the very end.

Now if there is one thing we know about Maria is that she would not have wanted this to have a sadness in our lives. So please, for her and for all of us let’s take a moment to shift our thought from how much we will all miss to her to one of our own funny, happy, loving, and uplifting memories that you shared with her and believe me there were many. Today let’s not mourn that she is gone but instead let’s celebrate that she lived!

El Elogio

Estamos aquí reunidos hoy para celebrar la vida de María Elena Flores Aguirre. Era una esposa, madre, hermana e hija muy fuerte, cariñosa, amorosa y solidaria. Siempre ponía a todos antes que a sí misma y se aseguraba de que todos fueran atendidos antes de cuidarse a sí misma. Era una persona trabajadora con un carácter fuerte que era muy apasionada.

Fue una gran madre cariñosa que cuidó de sus 2 hijos Daniel y David y de sus muchas sobrinas y sobrinos y haría cualquier cosa por ellos, incluso hasta su último aliento. Fue una luchadora que nunca se rindió, con una familia amorosa y solidaria que la ayudó a luchar por su vida hasta el final.

Ahora bien, si hay algo que sabemos sobre María es que ella no hubiera querido que esto tuviera una tristeza en nuestras vidas. Así que, por favor, para ella y para todos nosotros, tomemos un momento para cambiar nuestro pensamiento de lo mucho que la extrañaremos a uno de nuestros propios recuerdos divertidos, felices, amorosos y edificantes que compartiste con ella y créanme que eran muchos. ¡Hoy no vamos a lamentar que ella se haya ido, sino que celebremos que vivió!
