Maria Dolores Flores, born March 15th, 1957, was an extremely loving and devoted mother to her children, Felipe Flores, Mario Alberto Flores, Juan Carlos Flores, Anna Marie Coronado, and Osbaldo Flores, and a devoted wife to Mario Flores Sr. She was a devout Christian who unapologetically practiced her beliefs, and upheld the values instilled by her beloved parents, Felipe Mendoza and Dolores Delfina Ramirez Mendoza, who preceded her in death.
Maria Dolores Flores is also survived by her sisters, Maria del Rosario Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Guadalupe Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Celia Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Francisca Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Isabel Mendoza Ramirez, Yolanda Mendoza Ramirez, Maria del Carmen Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Elena Mendoza Ramirez, Maria Virginia Mendoza Ramirez, and Gloria Elizabeth Mendoza Ramirez, whom she loved dearly.
Throughout the years, Maria Dolores Flores was given two other daughters by marriage, Mayra Flores and Jazmin Alejandra Flores, along with a son, Rodolfo Coronado. She was immensely blessed with beautiful grandchildren: Alexia Jasmyn Flores, Evelyn Nicole Flores, Abigail Elissa Flores, Samuel Caleb Coronado, Sadie Annalise Coronado, Salma Sofia Coronado, and Selah Eleanor Coronado.
Maria Dolores Flores was a caring soul, who enjoyed worshipping our Lord, and helping anyone in need. She was the life of the party who brightened up the room, and gained a friend everywhere she went. She not only loved to sing and dance, but, if one of her family members had a food or dessert craving, she would quickly jump into the kitchen and prepare it.
Maria Dolores Flores gave her entire being to her family, and did so unconditionally. She was a selfless and dedicated woman who will be deeply missed and never forgotten. An angel has been called home.
A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
