Maria Luisa Escobar

Maria Luisa Escobar of Houston, Texas went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born October 11, 1932 in Los Ramones-Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Santos Cardenas and Sylvestra Silva Cardenas. Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters: Maria Gonzalez and her husband Gilbert and Doris Ramos and her husband Raul; grandchildren: Marina Trapolino and her husband Frank, Gilbert Gonzalez III, Maegan Ramos and Raul Ramos III; brothers: Leandro Cardenas and Isauro Cardenas and his wife Minerva and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Rene Escobar; son Juan Escobar and parents.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a rite of committal at Brookside Memorial Park.
