Maria was part of the Chantal family for 25 years.   She ran our assembly line, did quality control, inspected and reported returns, was instrumental to the set up our warehouse sale every year,  and did any other project she was asked to do.  She did it all with a smile.....every day.  Her smile was not just for pictures.  She had it for everyone.... every day.  The breakroom was always full of chatter and laughter when Maria was there.  She was an important part of us and we miss her.   God has a different project for her now and we know she is doing it with a smile.

Maria and Sandra,
I still can't believe that you are both gone.
I miss you both terribly. You were both taken away too soon. 
Jaiden has shown strength and courageous well beyond his young age. 
And Sandra I'm sure that you already know that Jaiden listens to your words of wisdom and take what you say to heart. It will carry him throughout life. It's a testament to you and his grandma. Jaiden gets his strength from the both of you.
I know that you're both beaming with pride for him right now. 
Maria I will miss your great friendship. Whenever I was in a foul mood and felt slighted you would quickly snap me out of my pity party.
You would tell me that some people have it worse and that God has blessed me. He did indeed with a friend like you. You were that go to person on topics that were for your ears only without judgement. Maria I miss our get together meals catching up on what was going on in one another lives.
I knew that family was very important to you and how much you love them and looked forward to any chance you had the opportunity to spend time with them. 
You loved your family and friends fiercely and with all of your heart. Often when I asked what were your plans for the weekend you would mention a family functions you were helping out with or one of Jaiden's games to getting together with your sisters. I saw how you light up when you spoke of your weekend plans which seems to take up your entire weekend. 
Girl when do you rest!? I often wondered how do you find the energy to have such an active weekend and still be able to get out of bed very early on Mondays full of joy and always laughing. Having the opportunity with family and friends on weekends was time we'll spent. 
I get it now my friend because life is too short and tomorrow is now promised.

PS: I could never get Maria to just simply call me Linda no matter how much I tried.  It was always Ms Linda.
I gave up trying years ago. 😊
