It is with great sadness and with love, we announce that our Beautiful Mother and Great Servant
of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maria Concepcion Cerda, passed to be in the wonderful presence of
our Lord Jesus Christ. On Monday, July 3, 2023, because of a Cardiac Arrest, in Houston,
Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dario Infante Cerda (div.) She is survived by her children Silvia C. Charcas,Juan M. Charcas, Ana R. Castillo and
husband, Ignacio Castillo, Maria A. Gaytan, and ex-husband, Mauro Gaytan, Jose W. Cerda
and wife, Sandra Cerda, Margarita C. Gordillo and husband, Victor Gordillo, Jr., Daniel Cerda
and wife, Miriam Cerda, Ruth C. Martin and husband, Otoniel Martin. We all knew her as the Greatest Mother and Grandma Ever!!!
Her favorite past time was spending many hours reading her Bible and making all kinds of arts
and crafts with her precious hands. Her greatest passion was to give with a cheerful heart with
lots of Love to all in need, especially to her family and friends. To Give with Love and with a
Cheerful Heart was the most Beautiful and Greatest Example she left for us to follow.
She always was and will always remain in our hearts as a Great Woman of God, a Strong
Prayer Warrior for all our Family and Friends through our Lord Jesus Christ and through God’s
will. She was especially the Greatest Virtuous Woman within our family, a Faithful Servant of our
Lord Jesus Christ here on earth. She left us a great example to follow to Love one another and
to forgive each other, just as God has taught us through his son Jesus Christ. She always gave
us more than one hundred percent to show her Love for us, especially to all her children. That
was also an example for us to follow, a Mother’s Greatest Love!!!
We are going to miss her deeply, but we know that right now she is in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ, where one day we will be united together with her in Christ, where there will be no
more tears, and no more sorrow, and no more pain, just as God’s Word tells us, and there we
will be rejoicing and worshiping the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ together forever!!!
Thank you Jesus, for allowing us 87 years of having the Greatest Mother and Grandmother in
the World!!!
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will
be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9)
The Lord is with me like a Mighty and Powerful Warrior!!!
(Jeremiah 20:11)
