Margarita Bermudez Medrano

Margarita Bermudez Medrano of Houston, Texas, passed away in the early hours of May 21, 2021, at the age of 80 while surrounded by her loving husband and children. Margarita was born in Matamoros, Mexico, on February 22, 1941, and later, as a child, migrated to Brownsville, Texas. On July 28, 1973, Margarita married the love of her life, Ciro A. Medrano, and they both eventually moved to Houston, Texas.

Margarita was a loving mother and wife. She was caring, dedicated, strong and a faithful wife and mother. In 1998, after studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, she dedicated the rest of her life to Jehovah remaining faithful to her faith until her last breath.

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Juan Ceballos Bermudez and Leocadia Vera Bermudez. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ciro A. Medrano, her son Ciro Medrano Jr. and wife Evon Medrano, her daughter Marina Joglar and husband Julio Joglar and her step grandchildren Raquel, Daniel and Gabriel and her son Saul Medrano and wife Marissa Medrano, her grandchildren Saul Jr. and Samantha. She is also survived by her brother Alfredo Bermudez and wife Dora Bermudez as well as multiple in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Mama will be missed so much, and her love will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
