Margarita P. Marquez

Margarita P. Marquez, 95, passed away in her home February 23, 2023. Margarita was born to Silverio Pamatz and Maria Mendoza Pátzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico on February 13, 1928, but Houston has been her home for 7 decades.

She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, loving grandmother and great grandmother, and Catholic now resting in peace with her Lord. She is survived by her sons: Mario, Raul, and Manuel Jr.; daughters: Gloria, Janie, and Marilyn; daughter-in-laws: Elida and Lilianna; son-in-laws: Larry and Craig; grandchildren: Susanna, Maria, Lily, Ryan, Patrick, Lee, Jennifer, Ashley, Jonathan, Danielle, Stephen, Albert Jr, Christopher, Stephanie, Michael, Bradley, Carlos, Yesina, Manuel III, Raul, and Carlo; and many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Marquez, daughter Rosalinda Marquez Martinez, son Luis Marquez, grandson Isaeah Marquez, and great granddaughter Kayla Decharinte.

Visitation will be March 1, 2023 at 5:00p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023. Service will be on March 2, 2023, at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003.
