Toast and jam, Snarda, Hot Wells, A and W, hockey games, airplane rides with your Dad,eyes stinging from fabric, and hours talking to your mom.  In fact, last Christmas I let your mom know that I recently realized that I came over almost every day for five years; not to see Miles, Faron and Lee; but, to see your mom.  I am so honored to have had her in my life. She represented everything that is good in the world and her influence on me can not be understated. I am truly sorry for your loss but so grateful you shared her with me.

My condolences and deepest sympathy goes out to Ms. Margaret Mary Hansen's family. I did'nt know Ms. Margaret personally, but Evelyn spoke well of her mommy often and so well that one would think i knew her. Evelyn and I frequently talked about her daily visits after work going to  check on her mother and making sure she had dinner and didnt want for anything. Evelyn recently showed me the cutest picture of Ms. Margaret as she sat at a doctors visit looking so dainty and just as cute as a button! Auntie Margaret has been in my life for as long as I can remember. When her and Uncle Albert got married when we lived in Wayne, AB and I was only a small child, she was there and she never left my life. She was amazing lady , filled with love, compassion and joy. She was tiny but mighty. She was like the energiser bunny, she could work circles around anybody and everything she did was done to perfection. Family and friends were so important to her. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. We just never entertained the idea that she would leave us. I guess her work here is done and she has moved on to do greater things. We loved Margaret. She was a vibrant lady. She was one of my Mom's good friends, and we appreciate her so much. She will be sorely missed.

"Peaches and Cream"!     she would exclaim,  as she clapped her hands and switched seats with Uncle Albert to take over the driving position in the car, without slowing down or stopping, sailing down some quiet prairie highway.  Can't you just see it???   So Aunty Margaret!  
Over the years, comments and confirmations expressing the strength of her faith and her loving and compassionate ways were spoken of with admiration.

I will always remember spending Christmas at grandma's house. I always felt so lucky that I got to spend Christmas every year with her and the rest of the family. Grandma always encouraged me to do my best and was so proud that I was graduating. Grandma you were the best. I will miss you a lot and I will think of you often. Love your granddaughter Kelly.

We were blessed to have such a wonderful, loving, kind, giving and supportive mother. Mom was like a race horse that just kept on running.  We thought she would surely out-live us all.  She was generous in so many ways.  She gave everything she had to everyone else and you never had to ask, she just gave you what you needed.  Mom and our family moved to Texas on August 28, 1965 and she got her citizenship on September 19, 1971.  She was married to my dad at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.  Mom was the keeper of stray cats and lover of all humans she met.  I feel such a great loss and I will miss her everyday.  I know she is with the Lord and she is surely in Heaven.  Love you mom.
