Marge was a graduate of Paonia High School (Paonia, CO) and attended Central Business College (Denver, CO). She worked several positions including at New Mexico Tech in the Library and Bookstore. Marge was a homemaker raising her four children and supporting her husband. She was an avid sports fan. In addition to enjoying time with her family and friends, Marge had a passion for travel. In addition to trips to Europe, the Caribbean, and South America, she enjoyed exploring the road less travelled.
Marge is preceded in death by her sons Kenneth Frank Fagan Jr (1963 to 2003) and Steven James Fagan (1965-2020); her parents James and Anna Snyder; her sister Eva Dorris; her brother James “Jim” Snyder and other loved ones.
Marge is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years Kenneth Frank Fagan; her brother William “Bill” Snyder and wife Leandra; her sister DeAnna Stallcup; her daughter Sheila Summers and husband Richard; her daughter Suzanne Fagan; Steven’s wife Rhonda Fagan; her grandchildren Candice Summers, Dannielle Summers, Jared Fagan; her great-grandchildren Parris, Sophia and Gianni Summers; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the wonderful, attentive staff of Buckner Parkway Place and to Matonia Kwofie for the years of care and companionship.
Family and friends gathered and share memories during a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston. The Funeral Mass began at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Drive, followed by the Rite of Committal at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, also in Houston.
