Marcus Dewayne Carter was born on January 17, 1977 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born to Andrew Carter and Patty Gail Busby and was the oldest of two brothers. He attended Blackshear Elementary School, Missouri City Middle School, Willowridge High School and Elkins High School. He soon found out that he was going to be a father of a baby girl, naming her Dominique Renee Carter. He Loved her dearly! Marcus soon met LaTavia Thompson who later became his wife. To this union, they were blessed with two sons, Dewayne Carter and Karmelo Ju’elz Carter. He decided that it was more than right to give his life to Christ getting baptizes with his wife at Christian Bible Church by Pastor Rudolph White, Jr. He worked for Halliburton and H-E-B warehouse, followed by National Flange and Wal-Mart until the time of his passing. Marcus’ memories will forever be cherished by LaTavia Carter; his two sons, Kame’ron and Karmelo Carter; one daughter, Dominique Carter; his loving parents, Andrew and Philliecia Carter; his mother, Patty G. Busby; his two grandmothers, Lelia Carter and Verna Busby; two brothers, Derramy and Tarrence Carter; one sister, Azaria Busby; five uncles, Ronald Carter, Louis Carter, , Micheal Carter and Lloyd and Edward Busby and a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives friends and associates too numerous to name.
