Marcos Reyes Jr.

Marcos was born August 13, 1962 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by parents, Marcos M Reyes; Maria Monse Reyes and daughter Sonia Miriam Reyes. Marcos is survived by his wife, Mireyra Reyes; son Angel Reyes; son Abel Reyes; son Josue Reyes; daughter Maribel Reyes; and daughter Gisselle Reyes; younger brother Valentin Reyes.

Marcos worked over 20 years of his life at Daltile Stone & Slab Center in Houston, TX as a delivery driver. As his employer can attest to, Marcos took much pride in his job. Always wanted to be the first one to arrive and the last one to leave. It didn't just stop there, he also wanted to help his fellow coworkers be better. Whether it was showing a new guy the way to make their job a little easier or showing them something new that would help them in the future. No matter what the job was or how many long hours he had to work, it was never an issue because he loved working for Daltile.

Nothing compares to how much he loved his adoring family. Even if it meant arriving home tired from work, he still managed to take his kids to boxing or baseball practice. And always made sure to never miss any of his children's sports games. He took a lot of pride in being the man of his house, not allowing his family to be or feel unprotected. Especially when it came to his wife, she had his unconditional love and gave her the world. Marcos will forever be greatly missed for his non-stop hard work, sense of humor, strong handshakes, and fatherly love. But most of all, the endless love and care he gave to his wife, children, and many grandkids.
