Manuel Mata

Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Margaret Mata. Children Manuel “Sylvan” Mata & wife Naty, Christina Mata & husband Raul, Victoria Mata & his late son in law Sean Hanner. Grandchildren Damaris, Ariana, Jacob, Skyler and Khloe. Brother David Mata Jr. & wife Yolanda, sisters Rebecca Villanueva & husband Sam, Margie Mata, Angela Mata and numerous of extended family members.

Manuel was known for his endless patience, kindness, and compassion. He brought out the best in everyone that crossed his path and always had a positive, fun-loving approach to life. He lived for his wife, kids and grandchildren. He also loved fishing, motorcycles, car show’s and hot rods. He leave will be missed tremendously by countless others who were fortunate enough to know him.

A visitation for Manuel will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a Funeral Service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
