Many great family times occurred when they joined with other members of the Gray family at Memorial Park and Splendora where Grandpa Gray retired and families gathered. Carl studied at the University of Houston beginning in 1958 and graduated in the class of 1964. He learned from his father and mother how to invest in real estate and was quite successful. He was actively involved in community theatre, the Good Times Brass Band where he played the tuba and the HATS group where they traveled on local trips to see the sights. Carl really enjoyed traveling to Europe many times in his life.
