Mack graduated from Crenshaw High and he was a people person, speaking to everyone. He was affectionately called Michael to many. He learned to be a butcher going to school via Safeway Store in the latter 80's. Towards the end of his life pain was a mainstay in his life. Although suffering through a myriad of health issues, his faith never wavered of wanting to serve our God. He loved and had all the oldies but goodies, along with the equipment to play and listen to music. In his life he dealt with many trials but ventured on to better things later in life trying to look forward to a walk with Jehovah God.
Preceeded in death was his father Mack H. Weldon Sr. He is survived by wife Elvina LaStrappe-Weldon, two sons Aubrey Weldon and Kerjon Lee, one daughter Bianca Gorman. One granddaughter, Morgan Weldon. Three grandsons Jordan, Jamal and Brandon. A sister Shelia Harbin, nephews: Guy, Tyrone, Darryl, Robert, Errol, Stevon, nieces: Trenne, Trishena, Tamula, Karen, Mellisa, Tina, Toyoka, Miyoka and Niyoka sister and brother in law: Carol and Jerry LaStrappe, Ollie Lagard, Louversa and Carl Dorsey, Theo John LaStrappe, Phyllis LaStrappe and a host of cousins and friends. He had, in recent years, become close relatives to Malcom Weldon and Maxine Weldon. He will be sadly missed.
