Her family moved from Detroit, Michigan to Houston, Texas for a career opportunity for her father Dan Mulcahy. In the years to come her brother, Daniel’s passing in 1989 brought her home from college to be with her parents.
She soon went to work with her father at Rosedale Products. She cherished the short time she had working with Dan until 2006. Lynn then took the job title as the Office Manager in Houston for Rosedale Products.
The last 28 months her daughter Abbey has worked side by side with her mother and they both cherished every minute of it. Abbey was accepted at the same college her mother attended TTU. Abbey elected not to attend TTU at this time to stay home and help care for Lynn’s mother, Camille Mulcahy who was in hospice at the time. Lynn devoted a lot of her time to go visit her mother daily, they cherished their time together more than anything. Abbey knew the passing of Lynn‘s mother would be difficult. The love and bond Lynn and her mother had was inseparable. Abbey got to share the same connection working with her mother day in and day out.
Our beloved will be remembered for her strong will, compassionate soul, loving heart and witty spirits. She loved taking pictures of her backyard and the beauty that God had created through her eyes. Lynn was so devoted to caring for her ferns and orchids. One of her most recent hobbies was the new AI technology it had her so fascinated, she would sit and ask questions for hours.
Lynn’s favorite hobbies with her daughter consisted of the two of them taking trips together, thrifting, attending concerts and trying new restaurants this would bring so much joy to her.
Lynn would stand in her dad’s office gazing out the window across the parking lot and watching other businesses operate. One day in 1994 they needed a truck unloaded with a forklift her father said go ask the guy across the parking lot. This would lead up to Lynn and John’s marriage in 1999.
Lynn and John had just purchased their dream retirement home in Colorado this past November. Lynn couldn’t wait to make a snow angel there; she did so at Christmas time and couldn’t wait to go back. Lynn cherished the views God had created very much.
Lynn’s favorite hobbies with her husband were gardening in the backyard, traveling, fine dining, drag races and car shows. They did just about everything together.
Lynn Harden is survived by her husband, John Harden and daughter, Abigail Harden and a host of relatives and good friends. She is preceded by her brother Daniel Mulcahy and her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Mulcahy.
