Lupe Gonzales Reyes

Lupe Gonzales Reyes, 82, was born on May 14, 1938 in El Campo, Texas. She moved to Houston, TX with her soul mate Evaristo Reyes in 1962. She was known as a talented seamstress and crafter who made many items & gifts for family, friends and the community. Lupe was everything a mother could be. She lived her faith & loved her family. She was a guiding light for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the heart & strength of the family.

On Wednesday March 24, 2021, God decided to call her home. She is survived by her husband Evaristo Reyes of 67 years of marriage, her four children, Evaristo Reyes Jr., Janie Reyes, Hector Reyes, and Mickey Reyes. Her two Grandchildren, Matthew Reyes, Monica Reyes and husband Carlos Cortez and her three great-grandchildren Eviana Cortez, Alina Cortez, and Marielle Cortez, her sisters Monica Cabrera and Maria Jasso.

A committal service for Lupe will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
