Lula Mae Warren Lemons (96) died December 24th, 2012 in Houston, Texas at St. Joseph Hospital. Born February 13th, 1916 in Dobbin, Texas, A Houston resident for the past 70 years, Living Treasure for Independence Heights, Sentinel for the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star Maple Leaf Chapter #59, Volunteer Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston Retired and Senior Volunteers, Client's Council, Lone Star Legal Aid, and NAACP Lifetime Member. She was survived by her sister Israel Mae Warren 9Baby Ruth Phillips) , sister-in-law Lucille Lemons, Daughter Dr. Minnie Bailey PhD, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
