Lula Joyce Sheridan Blackmor

Lula grew up on a large farm with five siblings, Grady, Hunter, Delle Ross, Zack and Dickey Joe. She graduated from high school at Elkhart High and moved to Houston to live with her sister Delle Ross and her husband T.J. Meredith as a very young girl to attend the University of Houston. She married Virgil Blackmor on July 29th 1950, they raised three children, Donna, Gerald and Sheri in the Spring Branch area of Houston.

Lula is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil and son, Gerald. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Donna Moore and Sheri Buck; son-in-law, James Buck; grandchildren, Chris Moore and fiancé Tiffany Colvert, Melanie Alva and grandson-in-law, Mark Alva and Jackson Buck, great grandson, Levi Alva; brother, Dickey Joe Sheridan and wife Barbara; sisters-in-law, Berniedean Blackmor and Betty James, a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held November 10th at 11am at Fair Haven United Methodist, 1330 Gessner Dr.
