Luis Cardenas

Luis Cardenas of Splendora, Tx. went to be with the Lord on July 5th, 2022 at the age of 94. He was born in Toluca, Mexico on June 28, 1928 to parents Felicitas Ordoňez and Braulio Cardenas. Luis graduated from High School and successfully earned a living as a professional salesman at AMC. Luis was strongly devoted to the Virgin Mary and had a passion for teaching bible studies where he touched the lives of hundreds of Christians seeking to enrich their lives with the teachings of our Lord.

Luis is survived by: Maria Cardenas (Daughter), Luis Cardenas (Son), Sugey Cardenas (Daughter in Law), Luis Cardenas (Grandson), Natalia Cardenas (Grand Daughter), Yessenia Cardenas (Grand Daughter), Tere Cardenas (Niece).

Luis was preceded in death by: Maria Cardenas Vela (Wife), Braulio Cardenas (Father), Felicitas Cardenas (Mother), Vicente Cardenas (Brother), Pablo Cardenas (Brother), Alfonso Cardenas (Brother), Maria De La Paz Cardenas (Sister).

Pallbearers: Luis Cardenas Jr., Sugey Cardenas, Jose Montoya, Tony Maldonado, Andres Leon, and VW.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, July 10th from 6pm to 9pm, and a funeral service on Monday, July 11th at 10am in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
