Lucille Ellis

She was born on December 6, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Jim Ellis; parents, W.D. and Lenora Crow; and brothers, Roy McNair, Billy Crow and Ron Crow. She is survived by her sister, Sally Blasius; nieces, Zonna McWhorter, Laura Harris, Cyndi Dalton, Marty Crow, Roni Crow, Jordan Pierce, and Allison Crow; and nephews, Greg Crow, Josh Crow, and Dustin Blasius.

Lou was a passionate woman of strong Christian faith. She deeply valued her relationships with friends and family and took great care of anyone in need. She created her own path by building and operating a successful nursing agency for over 30 years. Her style and taste for art were unmatched and left a lasting impression on anyone who came to know her.

The family would like to thank Home Instead and Accent Care Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Lou in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation and services at Forest Park Westheimer on 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077. Visitation with the family will begin at 2pm.
