Lucille Doolan

Lucille Doolan was born on June 29, 1924 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Reagan High School. Lucille worked in the banking industry as a Teller. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, William Louis Doolan and Jean Taake for 19 years; parents, John and Jennie Colaianni and siblings, Rosie, Lena, Joe, Frances, Jennie and Mary. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Joyce Marie Sontag and husband Charlie; grandson, Billy Holman; granddog, Bindi; and numerous family members and friends. Over the years Lucille enjoyed camping, vacations and traveling to destinations like Las Vegas, Branson and Lake Charles. She loved to cook, enjoyed family gatherings, gardening and dancing. Lucille was a member of the Lutheran Church and loved going and serving God. She was a loving, caring and giving person and was loved by all. Her motto was “Live your life, have fun and always keep God in your heart because life is too short not to." She will be missed and never forgotten.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
