Louise Wernecke Rochow

Louise Ida Wernecke Rochow, at the age of 92, went to be with Jesus on August 2, 2015. Louise loved baking, gardening, watching wheel of fortune and soap operas with her grandchildren and caregiver. She also loved to sew and create clothes for her beloved children. She had an undying love for her children no matter how old they got. She loved to teach her grandchildren how to bake her special pies and cookies and always wanted to make sure at the holidays everyone got their special deserts she made. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they brought her so much joy!

She is survived by daughter, Karol and son-in-law Mike Rover; granddaughters and their spouses Stephanie and Jon McNeely, Kalie and Sam Strickling, Lauren Rover and Blake Mayberry; great-grandchildren, James McNeely, Quinn McNeely; son, Ken Rochow and daughter-in-law Lori Rochow; grandsons and granddaughters and their spouses, Sharon Olson, Delton and Khristyn Parker, Dayton Parker and Kristen Moise; great-grandchildren, Eden Parker, Blakely Parker, Kolby Olson, Easton Parker; Late Daughter, Karen Hill; grandson and granddaughter and their spouses, Dwayne and Millie Hill, Monica and Steven Crain; great-grandchildren, Jaden Crain, McKenna Smith, Hunter Hill, Addison Crain, Kinsley Crain, Anniston Crain and Baby Hill coming January 2016; sister, Gladys Bobo; brothers, Carl Wernecke and wife Frances and Harry Wernecke; special caregiver, Olivia Moye.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Pat H. Foley from 5-8pm. Services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015, 10am at Our Savior Lutheran Church at 5000 W. Tidwell Rd., Houston, 77091. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, 77055.
