Louise T. Perry

Mrs. Perry worked as a professional Secretary, Bookkeeping Clerk, and Office Manager throughout her career in Real Estate. She was a life long member of the Order of the Daughters of the King and served on the church Vestry. She held Secretary and Treasurer positions on the Board of Directors for Crown Colony West Home Owners' Association. She and James shared a passion for traveling; as evidenced by their numerous trips to Europe.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, James H. Perry Jr.; her parents, Blumer Earl and Mattye (Morgan) Tackett; her sisters, Joyce (Clark) Casto, Patricia Kopidlansky, and Syble (Williams) Smith; and by her brothers, B. E. Tackett, Jr. and Gary Tackett. She is survived by her daughter, Leslye Chapman; her grandchildren, Sherry Hamrick and Jonathon Chapman; her great-grandchildren, Malakai DeFord, Kaleb Chapman, and Collette Hamrick; her many nieces and nephews, and their families.

A private gravesite service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX.

As this will be a celebration of her life, it was Mrs. Perry's request that no one wear BLACK at her funeral!

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family, to St. Mark's Episcopal Church (Daughters of the King), or to the charity of choice.
