Louis Delgado Perez

Louis Delgado Perez, age 90, of Houston, Texas passed away in Saint Augustine, Florida on Monday December 17, 2018. Louis was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 25, 1928. He was raised in Houston, TX until the age of 17 when he enlisted into the U.S. Navy on November 9, 1945 and served until September 2, 1947.

He is survived by three sons: Louis A. (Vickie) Perez, Ben (Margie) Perez and Gilbert Perez, eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Pauline Montelongo and Lillie Renteria as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Frances P. Delgado, wife Maria Estella Gonzalez Perez and three sons John and Robert Zamora, and Daniel Ray Perez.

A visitation for Louis will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, TX 77087. A rosary will occur Wednesday December 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on December 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 9217 E Ave L, Houston, TX 77012. A committal service with military honors will occur Thursday, December 27, 2018 from following the Mass at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX77023
