Berneita Lou Jackson passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Lou was born to Grace and Frank Lockridge in Douglas, Oklahoma on December 20, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Jackson.
Lou is survived by two children, Lynn Blair and husband Bill of Omaha, Nebraska and Gary Jackson of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren include Phillip Jackson and wife Allison of Seattle, Washington; John Jackson of Houston, Texas; Jeremiah Jackson of Bellingham, Washington; Nick Jackson of Boulder, Colorado. Lou has one surviving sister, Carrie Raulston of Dallas, Texas.
A memorial service will occur Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Vitas Hospice.
