Lloyd H. Smith

Lloyd Homer Smith, 84, of Porter, Texas passed away on July 20th 2016. Lloyd was born in Wharton, Texas on November 21st 1931. Lloyd joined the United States Air Force were he proudly served his country. He married Judy R. Smith. Lloyd and Judy were married in Germany by the Burgermeister, the following day, they returned to the United States and were remarried. Later in life, Lloyd became a Peace Office for the Houston Police Department for many years.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife of 60 loving years, Judy R. Smith, son Douglas Smith, brother Wesley Smith. He is survived by his daughter Tracey Smith and husband Christopher Hair, two sons; Lloyd Hilman Smith, and Paul Smith and wife Stephanie, sister Bulah Cook and husband Carl, five granddaughters and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038, Saturday, July 30th 2016 at 1:00pm.
