Lloyd F. Hern, Jr., age 55, passed away Friday, June 28, 2014. Born in Houston, Texas, he graduated from Lamar High School in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd, Sr. and Sylvia Hern. Survived by brother, Jerry W. Smith and wife Mary; sister, Kathy Paul and husband Chuck; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
