Lloyd was a Man’s Man that owned multiple successful businesses, leaving his greatest legacy at MSD Building Corp. He was loved by family, friends and people in the steel industry. He met his precious Margie on the dance floor, and they have loved dancing together ever since. He loved coaching and watching his children do all of their sports and activities. His passion was steel erection but what he loved most in life was his family, their exciting vacations and making memories. He treasured all of the many family reunions with his “Matte-ly Krewe”. Lloyd’s house was a revolving door of his kids' friends who he considered many as his own. Lloyd didn't know a stranger. He was strong in his Catholic faith and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3700. He was a member of the Golf Ninjas of Texas “GNOT” with all of his buddies. He was nicknamed “Deacon” because he would always be the one to pray before meals. Lloyd was also nicknamed "Walkie" as a child and kept the name throughout his life. As a teen, you could catch Lloyd hitchhiking with his surfboard from South Houston to Galveston. Growing up, he loved surfing and skateboarding. He loved to fish, hunt, golf and play the guitar. If there was anything he wanted to do, he'd learn. As soon as Lloyd entered a room, he knew that he would be the smartest person in it, as did everyone else. We love him so much and he’ll be missed and forever loved.
In the words of Lloyd, “Glad you got to see me. AAAAAYEEEEE!”.
