She married Robert “Albert” Hicks in 1996 and they lived happily together until God called him home in 2019.
Faye, as she was called by all who knew and loved her, was employed many years and retired from Houston Independent School District.
She is preceded in death by her Husband; Robert “Albert” Hicks, Mother; Lucy Miller (Allen), Sister; Sheila Allen and her Grandson
Faye is survived by Son; Anthony Roberson and Daughters; Cynthia Allen Duplechin (Eddie), Angela Allen and Tina Oglesby (Malcolm), nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and Harbor Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

A funeral service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
