Lilia De la Torre, age 67, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Lilia was born in Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco, México. October 7, 1955 daughter to Victor Franco and Maria Guadalupe Alvarez. Lilia graduated high school married Alejandro De la Torre to whom she had three children with . Alejandro De la Torre JR, Alondra De la Torre and Mariela De la Torre. Lilia also had seven grandchildren Alexa, Bianca ,Gianna ,Viridiana, Giselle ,Jimena and Joanna. After her divorce she worked three jobs to provide for her kids, who learned to have that fighter Spirit from her and also business sense. Her pride was knowing her three kids had all become very loving and productive members of society even though it was only her to provide care, nourish, love, and discipline them. They say it takes a village to raise a kid well then she was the mayor, teacher, Sheriff, Cook, and Nanny all by herself. Lilia was an active member of the Catholic Church Our Lady of Perpetual in Daly City California where she love attending Mass , Bible studies and multiple activities Lilia love to read books her favorite one being the Bible, enjoy doing Hands-On home decor and cooking she also loved animals but in particular dogs. Lilia work at Hyatt Regency in San Francisco California and Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco California up until she moved to Houston Texas Lilia was a Beautiful Soul kind, giving, helpful, lovable. She was always smiling and enjoyed visiting with people. People enjoy talking to her because she was always so positive and encouraging.The two most beautiful trait Lilia had was the warrior within her and a truly beautiful smile

Lilia De La Torre edad 67 de Houston Texas falleció el sábado septiembre 9, 2023 .Lilia nació en Tepatitlán de Morelos Jalisco México Octubre 7 de 1955. hija de Víctor Franco y María Guadalupe Álvarez .Lilia se graduó de la secundaria Se casó con Alejandro De La Torre con quien Tuvo tres hijos. Alejandro De La Torre Jr, Alondra De La Torre y Mariela De La Torre. Lilia también tuvo siete nietas Alexa, Bianca, Gianna, Viridiana, Giselle, Jimena y Joanna. Después de su divorcio Lilia trabajaba tres trabajos para mantener a sus hijos quienes aprendieron a tener ese espíritu luchador de ella y también sentido comercial. Su orgullo era saber que sus tres hijos son amorosos y miembros productivos de la sociedad a pesar que era Solo ella para cuidarlos, mantenerlos ,amarlos y disciplinarlos. Dicen que se necesita un pueblo para crear un niño. Bueno entonces ella era la alcaldesa, la maestra, el alguacil, la cocinera y la niñera por sí misma.Lilia era una miembra activa de la iglesia católica Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo en Daly City California dónde le encantaba ir a misa, a la oración y a diferentes actividades .Lilia le encantaba leer libros su favorito era la Biblia, disfrutaba hacer decoración práctica para el hogar y cocinar. Lilia le encantaban los animales su favoritos eran los perros Lilia trabajaba en el Hyatt Regency en San Francisco California y Kaiser Permanente South San Francisco California Hasta que ella se mudó a Houston Texas. Lilia era una alma hermosa, bondadosa, generosa y servicial. Lilia siempre estaba sonriendo y disfrutaba visitando a la gente .La gente disfrutaba hablar con ella porque era muy positiva y alentadora. Los dos rasgos más bellos que tenía Lilia eran La guerrera dentro de ella y una sonrisa verdaderamente hermosa.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
