Mrs. Lila B. Jackson

Lila B. Jackson, 77, of Porter, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2017. She was born in Belton, Texas on April 27, 1939. Lila received her GED and then her LVN degree. She married Russell Jackson on December 26, 1985. Lila worked as a nurse for Northwest Medical Center. She had a passion for camping and traveling.

Left to cherish her memories are: daughter and son-in-law Sondra & James Beam; daughter-in-law Brenda Kamenicky; siblings: Bobby Bleeker & Patricia, Mable Rodgers & Larry, Callie Weaver & Robert Mitchell; grandchildren: Gerald Kamenicky & Jayme Beam Macicek; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Kamenicky, Madalynn Kamenicky, and Alexis Kamenicky. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell D. Jackson; son Gerald Kamenicky; siblings: William Bleeker, Francis Fritz, A.L. Bleeker, and Larry Bleeker.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
