Lila Mary Evans

Lila graduated from Cy-Fair High School. She was married to Ralph Lee Evans on June 13th of 1969. They were married for 47 years. Lila was a co-owner of a successful business with her husband at Two Headed Wooden Nickel. The family business shaped and nurtured every member of the family into the people they are today. In her later years, she followed her husband and family and worked in theatre as an usher.

Lila is survived by her husband, Ralph Lee Evans; daughter, Dana Lynn Evans; grandson, Tyler Lee Evans; son, Brian Scott Evans and wife Emi Yoshikawa Evans; granddaughters, Jasmine Miki Evans, and Hiromi Lilly Evans; daughter, Tracy Leigh Evans; grandchildren, Cristobal Flores, Samantha Flores, and Abbie Craft; son, Evan Andrew Evans and wife Lauren Elizabeth Evans; granddaughter, Gillian Leigh Evans; niece, Tammy Danette Dickerson and spouse Dr. Jennifer Kathleen Myer; brother, Willie Denton Dickerson Jr..

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Denton Dickerson; mother, Mary L. Dickerson; brother, Roy Ollie Dickerson.

The funeral service will be held at 10am September 16, 2016 at Heights Funeral Home. Pastor Donald Black of Trinity Lutheran Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held on September 15, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Heights Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to any local animal shelter.
