Leta graduated from Sam Houston Sr. High School. She was married the love of her life Wilbert Carlile on January 28, 1966. She had a passion for working in the yard with her flowers.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Attic McMullen; father, Charles Frank Bauer; brother, Frank Bauer.
Leta is survived by her loving husband, Wilbert Carlile; son, Robert Carlile.
Serving as pallbearers are Dale McMullen, Gary McMullen, Rodger Ceaser, William Hoke, Rodrick Fort and Brad Chapman.
A visitation for Leta will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 12, 2023 in the Family Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
