Lester Gerry States, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013. He was born in Luling, Texas on August 25, 1939 to Lester and Gladys States.
Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Evelyn; children, Shane, Shelly and Steven; grandchildren, Annah Beth and Jared; daughter-in-law, Julie; and sister, Sandy Dyer.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Harwood Cemetery in Harwood Texas.
