Leslie John Herzog, 75, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 10, 2014. A native Houstonian and long time Spring Branch resident, he is survived by devoted wife of 51 years, Rose Marie Herzog, sister, Betty Boxx, sons Craig and Matt and their wives Cindy and Sara. His grandchildren, Kirby, Tanner and Ian were the light of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Herzog.
Les was an avid hunter and sportsman his entire life. Along with bowling and fast pitch softball, he enjoyed coaching his sons sports teams and following Houston sports.He will forever be remembered as a kind and humble man and will be dearly missed by his many friends and family.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 6-8p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, located at 10688 Shadow Wood Drive, Houston, Texas, 77043.
